VMS V300
The VMS V300 was introduced to the market in 2018 with some additional features from the original Classic model. These included a new interface unit, transparent teat cups and an upgraded attachment system giving a quicker attachment speed.
Routing:
It is available in right or left handed version to suit your farm layout and De Laval can offer free access as well as routed systems. Grazing systems are also available.
Entry and Exit:
Cows enter and exit the robot from the side of the robot.
Identification:
via a collar with the options of heat and health monitoring.
Arm Technology:
De Laval's hydraulic arm operates to the side, using a combination of camera and laser technology for teat location.
Teat Preparation and Attachment:
This is carried out with a separate teat cup, branded as Pure Flow before attachment of the milking cups. While teat disinfection is completed post milking by the arm which sprays each teat individually. Pre spraying is also a feature that is available before cleaning with the Pure Flow cup.
Backflush:
Post milking the cups are flushed with cold water with the option of adding peracetic acid.
Manual Attachment
This is possible with The V300 if you want :to persevere with some tricky cows or heifers, with or without an operator's pit.
Milk Quality Monitoring:
Milk analysis is available with De Leval's OCC and MDI modules which can provide quarter conductivity blood detection, cell count and constituent monitoring which all links to The Delpro software package and In Control app.
Batch Milking
Available with De Laval's VMS tm system.
The VMS V310 was introduced to the market in 2019 with all of the features of the VMS V300 above but with the unique added feature of individual cow fertility which is achieved by monitoring progesterone levels.
